# STEEM has reached escape velocity!

It's been a long time coming, but STEEM is finally having it's time in the sun.

It's finally woken up and started heading north in a big way.

Even @steemitblog is posting about it on Twitter these days:

How high will it go before it runs out of momentum?

I think that all depends on how long this bullish phase lasts.

Will it last another month, two more months, will it last another 9 months?

There are even some thinking this bullish cycle will bleed over into next year as well.

If that is the case, there's no reason we can't see STEEM go over $10 at some point here.

Now we just need to get some marketing and development from @steemitblog @justinsunsteemit @steemcurator01 and the steemit,inc team.
