**I got to know of a rather sad story from the tabloids of how a young undergraduate murdered his own father due to a little misunderstanding they both had. I asked myself what kind of unsettled grievances would make such a thing an option. Could it have been a lack of love between father and son or was there something way off the hook at work in the mind of that young man that led him to act in that manner?**

**As I kept brooding over the incident, I remembered a song sung by a group few years back which really got me back then because it really wasn't their conventional type of music but it made a whole lot of sense. It still does. The song was titled, 'Where is the love?' with lyrics that seemed like could only have been dropped in their hearts by God, the only source of true love.**

**You know, it's rather a saddening thing that love among people today seems to be a thing of the past. Many have a very selfish and screwed up concept of love. Thus, making the world around us a shadow of what it really should be.**

**The least we could do to make living worthwhile for someone and indeed anyone, is to give and show love in any possible way, not thinking first of what we stand to benefit but doing it anyway because it lifts you higher, makes you a better person and releases the dew of Heaven on you.**

**You never know what you can really amount to until you give yourself over to love. Love brings you to the place of enjoying your full potential even that which you do not yet know you have on your inside.**

**If I were you I'll read the opening quote again and think on it; I would read the focus verse for today and think deeply about what it says. There will be news of innocent persons being murdered here and there from time to time, of suicides due to rejection, of people suffering from depression and of all sorts of ill reports like heart breaks and all the rest. In spite of what goes on around the world, you are responsible for your own immediate environment.**

#### Love people and influence them to love as well. If we must see the deeds and results of love around us, we must be willing to choose to love despite all and no matter what.
