Okay, this has simmered in the back of my mind for some time now. If I could describe it [**how Morpheous explained the Matrix,**](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zE7PKRjrid4) I would. He did so with subtlety, but everyone realized what he meant. There is a clear difference in knowing something and having a solid grasp on the subject. Often, we feel the things first, and then we later come to know them. I’ve studied various truth movements for quite some time, and this topic is rarely, if ever, spoken about. The reason is that most people accept the current state of affairs without posing adequate questions.

I know, blather-blather-blather, so where is it to which I meander? I’m speaking to the act of protesting. We can protest in multiple ways. We can do it stoically and quietly, or in a boisterous and noisy fashion. It makes no difference how one goes about it, and perhaps sometimes we’ll use both tactics. However, I want to address the American audience right now. Americans, depending on your locale; have a unique right to assemble peacefully, and the founders baked this right into the first amendment.

Congress shall make no law regarding the right of the people to assemble peaceably, and that is your right to protest. Do it loudly and with gusto if you please, but do it peaceably. That is to say, just so long as you do so without engaging in acts of violence. So what might you ask is my beef with the current state of affairs and the tragedy of modern-day protesting? Well, I would submit that what we call protests nowadays aren’t protests at all. I mean, to call the parades we have nowadays “protesting” is akin to comparing what happens at a Medieval Fair to what happened in medieval times. One of the two is a LARP (or live-action role-play,) and the other is the real McCoy.

To explain this further, I need to show you how protesting has become diminished or removed from its former glory. Nowhere in the first amendment does it say: "Congress shall make no law regarding the right of the people <code>**who have permission**</code> to assemble peaceably." That’d be ridiculous if that’s how it read, and this is because the amendment itself is the permission. It’s the founders’ way of putting into words some of our God or nature-given inalienable rights as outlined by the Declaration of Independence. So, when I see groups of people protest against their local government with it's expressed permission, it saddens me to no end. This is because people don’t recognize the folly to which they’re engaged.

The above should be enough to let you know that what passes for protests nowadays is not organic as people have transformed them into parades or demonstrations. These events require permission, which makes them contrived and inauthentic. Let me put it another way, children use protesting all the time to influence the actions of their parents, and this works to varying degrees. Half of the success surrounding children’s temper tantrums is the spontaneity of his or her outrage, and the parents’ desire to pacify the child or to make peace. It doesn’t mean that the child is always right or will get his or her way. It’s just a metaphor to show you what a real protest is on a small scale.

In the above example, imagine that the child all civil-like before losing his or her temper asks the parent. Thy doth protest, may I? To which the parent exclaims; “Why, soitenly, we have available to you today good sir a crying room, an anger room, and a quiet room. Which one of these would be most pleasing for you to conduct your protest in?” You see, that response takes the protest out of the protest. When the parental figure gives permission and even accommodates the act, it means that the protest will have little to no effect on them. This is what we’re doing today with these organized parades, demonstrations, and LARPs. It’s ineffectual, artificial nonsense which poses as something it’s not.

<center><h4>LET’S LOOK AT A REAL PROTEST FOR COMPARISON</h4></center>

The above clip is an excerpt from a movie which retells the experiences of Malcolm X, and you can bet your ass he didn’t ask for permission. If he did, it would suck the entire spirit from the protest and replace it with a sad emptiness. Notice there was some yelling, but they did not engage in violence. This was a spontaneous protest done in response to police brutality, and they did not inform the police before the event. This made it real; as it was more of a flash mob or an organic protest. What it wasn’t, was some contrived give me your permission, let’s do this on Thursday bullshit. You’ll never see me at a protest for which people have sought government permission, and that’s because those events are fugazi.

Deep down inside, some of you already knew this truth in your gut. It’s probably why many of you don’t attend these permitted gatherings. I hope that I’ve laid a framework today for a deeper understanding of this feeling that’s always been there gnawing at you from the inside. By shining a light on this, perhaps more people will investigate the topic and illustrate in whatever creative ways we can that will precipitate a 100th monkey effect.

A key benefit to authentic and spontaneous protests is that it doesn’t give agent provocateurs time to organize and turn an otherwise peaceable assembly into an unlawful one that precipitates violence.
