Dominion entails lordship, supremacy and rulership over a place, things or a group of people. In other words, to dominate, there has to be a proven power or conferred authority. Without that, no one can dominate or rule; a powerless man can never take charge. Taking a profession as an example, if one wants to be a giant or a guru in any field, such person has to undergo a series of training or study. The training and study thus serves as a source of empowerment. On the contrary, someone who goes on to doing anything without being equipped with the needed or required knowledge can only end up soiling and spoiling such thing. In the same vein, for any child of God or believer to dominate or rule here on earth, he has to be empowered by God. The empowerment starts first by recognizing with Jesus because He is the POWER. The empowerment also comes in the place of prayer and study of the word. So, in order to dominate, one has to position himself in the place of being empowered. It is necessary for us to be empowered so as dominate in all areas of our life. We were created by God to dominate and subdue other powers. When we are not dominating, we seem not to be living according to God's purpose.
