Greatness is in YOU! || What Made Joseph Great? It's in here!!!

God hates mediocrity and as such he never gave room for such in creation. He never created anyone to be average rather, He designed every man to be great and excellent. Often times, we hear people say, 'All fingers are not equal' and they use that as excuse for their lagging behind in life and being successful. In the beginning, God created everyone to be equal. Consider this verse of the scripture below:

>There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free man, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus. (Galatians 3:28)

Irrespective of your location and background, regardless of your gender, we are all equal in the right to be successful. None was designed greater than the other but it is your choice to be great or be a mediocre. Every great person in the bible and in the world today achieved greatness because they chose to be great and they worked towards it. Your greatness and success in life is a function of your choices in life. Adversity is not an excuse for failure. Start making the right choices today!

However, it is only God that can make a man great in life because by strength shall no man prevail. You may feel that all your achievements in life is as a result of your hard work and efforts but No! God is the reason and you need to acknowledge that because He takes the strength and power from you. Remember that rich fool in the bible? He did not acknowledge God and God took his life.

### The Making of Joseph
Joseph was a prove that God can make a man regardless of his background and position in life. It should be noted that God did not just wake up and then made Joseph great in life; there were things in him that moved God to work things out for him. One of such things was that he feared God and others are;

**Joseph was a Dreamer:** Dream here is not what we see when we sleep rather it is the **mental picture of the future we want to feature**. Where do you see yourself in the years to come? Are you just being satisfied where you are? Joseph dreamed to be a great man, he saw himself leading. Meaning before we achieve anything, we must first see that thing. What you do not see, you cannot get. So, if you want to be successful and great in life, you have to be a dreamer. Not all dreams are good and such dreams do not come to fruition. Any dream that is not God-centered is not a good one and God will not back or support such. If your dreams must come to reality then it must be a good dream. A good dream is one that will have a positive impact on humanity.

Nothing or no one can stop one that has a good dream and dreamers do not give up easily. Joseph would have given up on his dream to be a prime minister but he never gave up; he kept believing and he eventually became a leader. Re-consider your dreams today; are they of good or bad intentions? Do you want that high position to help others or to punish others? Do you want to be wealthy so that you will show off?

**Joseph had Wisdom:** Wisdom the bible says is the principal thing. It is of great necessity that we seek for wisdom. Everything we need in life is embedded in wisdom including wealth. Yes, wealth is in wisdom. If Joseph did not have wisdom, he would have used his hands to destroy his dreams when Portiphar's wife came to seduce him. God is the author of wisdom and the fear of God is the beginning of wisdom. Joseph feared God and wisdom was imputed in him. Friends, go for wisdom because it is wisdom that will stand you out in the crowd and among your peers and colleagues. Wisdom brings about creativity and creative people are those making it big in life. To get this divine wisdom, you need to ask from the Lord, you also need to mind your association and company. Do not associate with fools cause you will end up being drained. Associate with the wise for iron sharpens iron.

**Joseph was a Man of Character**: The world is looking for men of character to entrust things into their hands. When you have a good character, you have everything. Irrespective of how much money you may have or how anointed you may be, if you do not have a good character then all you have will be wasted. Character is what will propel you to a greater height; Joseph had a good character which attracted him to his master. One's character originates from his thoughts thus, if you can deal with your thoughts, you have gained control over your character. Before anyone steals, he first thinks about it. Thoughts lead to imaginations, imaginations lead to actions, actions become habits and our habits become our character. Change your thinking pattern today.

**Conclusion**
It is possible to be successful but there are certain things you need to do considering the fact that there is a price for success. To be successful, you must first of all have a good dream, this dream is what will give the drive take actions. Most importantly, do not take your eyes away from your dreams and goals because what you will start seeing will be obstacles. Secondly, you need to possess wisdom; wisdom is simply the right application of knowledge. It is not just okay to know a thing, you need to know how to apply what you know. Get wisdom, it is necessary. Lastly, a good character comes into play if greatness is so desired. If there is anything that keep a man at the top, it is character and not charisma, money, influence or whatsoever. Develop a good character today and success will sure be inevitable for you.
