According to the formation of composition, the composite ties are usually two types.

Such as

 1 Sigma bond (σ)


2. Pie binding (

Features:

1. Sigma binding: Their orbital divisions are located in the same straight line at the time of their bonding. Atoms connected to the sigma bond (σ) can rotate along their axis. The sigma bond (σ) can usually be in the case of hybrid orbital and pure orbital.

2. Pie bond: The orbital compounds formed in pi bond (π) are in parallel with each other. At the time of formation of this tie, the atoms can not rotate along their own axis. S orbital and hybrid orbital can occur in all orbital pi bonds (π).
