[일상] 작품이 나왔습니다.
오늘은 왠지 김치만두가 땡기는 날입니다. 그래서 김치만두를 만들어 먹자고 아무 생각없이 한마디 던졌더니, 이걸 덥썩 물어주시는군요. 고기만두는 집에서 만드나 파는 것을 사나 맛이 비슷한데 이상하게 김치만두는 집에서 만든 것이 맛있습니다.

그래서 김치만두 만들기 미션을 시작했습니다.  

이게 생각보다 손이 많이 가는군요. 우선 만두 속을 만듭니다. 두부, 당면, 양파, 파, 김치, 부추, 돼지고기 등등 들어가는 재료가  많습니다. 재료를 잘게 쓰는 건 아내 몫이었고, 전 잘게 쓴 재료의 물을 빼는 작업을 했습니다. 두부 물빼기 힘들더군요. 어찌 어찌해서 마무리했습니다. 당면, 양파도 비슷한 방식으로 미션 클리어..

문제는 김치입니다. 김치 냉장고에 있던 지난 김장 김치를 꺼내니 조금 얼어있군요. 덕분에 잘 썰리기는 하는데, 물기가 너무 많습니다. 이걸 짜도 짜도 계속 물이 나오는군요. 얼었던 김치 국물이 계속 녹는 겁니다.

그래서 일단은 언 국물이 녹을 시간차가 필요하더군요. 그 후 있는 힘껏 김치 국물을 제거했습니다. 이렇게 해서 만두 속 마무리했습니다.

그동안 만들어주는 만두 그냥 맛있게 먹기만 했는데, 만드는 과정에 참여를 해 보니 보통 일이 아닌군요. 암튼 제가 봐도 작품이 나왔습니다. 만두 속 맛이 끝내주는 것을 보니 김치만두 맛은 뭐 보장된 것 같습니다.

이렇게 맛있는 김치만두가 하나씩 만들어지고 있습니다.

그런데 손목이 욱신거리는군요. 맛있는 김치 만두 계속 먹을려면 소형 탈수기라도 하나 장만해야 할 것 같습니다.
