Do onions make you cry when chopping them?  In my home, I normally prepare the onions because they make my wife tear up something fierce.  Tonight I was planning on chopping up about 2 pounds of onions and freezing them, just like I normally do every few months.  For some reason tonight my wife decided to do them herself.  Boy am I glad she did.

So I was in the living room just reading my book when suddenly my eyes begin burning.  This was bad...It was just like the tear gas room in Basic Training...only worse.  I look in the kitchen only to find my wife happily chopping the onions...TEAR FREE.  I don't know how this happened but I was over 20 feet away and leaving puddles of salt water at my feet....and she has dry eyes...I ended up with sore eyes, a runny nose, and a migraine.  Just imagine if I had done the onions....  I love my wife.
