There is 18th-century royal complex, or kraton, encompasses the still-inhabited Sultan’s Palace. Don’t forget to visit classical Javanese dance shows and concerts of gamelan music, characterized by gongs, chimes and plucked string instruments. Interesting and most famous street is Jalan Malioboro. In my opinion it is stirring and overcrowded. But you need to visit ;) Don’t let sellers to cheat you if they wanna sell you coffe “Kopi Luwak”. In the city centre it is very expensive maybe more than 10 times. Don’t forget Jogja is a touristic centre and it is different there. I have brilliant example. We took bike taxi. Once we took it without help of local and we rode approximately 500 metres. Second time we used locals help, we rode 3 kilometres and driver waited for us more than one hour! I don’t remember how much we paid, but the price was the same ;-D 👨‍🌾

Jogdžakarta je často nazývána "Jogdža". Jedná se o město v centrální části Indonéského ostrova Jáva. Jogdža je většinou známá jako centrum tradičního umění a kulturního dědictví. Co byste určitě měli navštívit? Královský komplex z 18. století, nebo kraton jež zahrnuje stále obývaný sultánský palác. Nezapomeňte navštívit klasické jávské taneční představení a koncerty gamelské hudby, které jsou charakterizovány gongy, zvonkohrami a trhanými strunnými nástroji. Zajímavou a nejslavnější ulicí je Jalan Malioboro. Podle mého názoru je však rušná a přeplněná. Navštívit byste ji však měli;) Nedopusťte, aby Vás podvedli prodejci, kteří Vám chtějí prodat cibetkovou kávu "Kopi Luwak". V centru města je velmi drahá a to možná i více než desetkrát tolik. Nezapomeňte, že Jogja je turistické centrum a je to tam hold jiné. Mám skvělý příklad. Vzali jsme taxikolo. Jednou jsme jej vzali bez pomoci místního a jeli jsme cca 500 metrů. Podruhé jsme si nechali pomoct od místního obyvatele, jeli jsme 3 kilometry a řidič nás čekal víc než hodinu!
