Unity agrees a lot more with the current hardware (the "gaming pc" used to run dx12 games has better stuff, because it HAS to, or else windows wont even boot
but this gives a nice baseline and from what i hear, buying an RTX in the first month sounds like a really bad idea , short supply , instability problems with some brands using cheaper components on a card that's basically overclocked by default, like an extreme hot-rod if you swith to cheaper tires you will have tracks all over the lanes (metaforically speaking)
So, unity seems to be the indeed easiest, built for loners and Freyja's Cats-the-observers to even be able to do something that looks pro all by their one

is a GOOD tutorial btw , check it if you wanna unity from scratch as a noob who doesnt have seven jobs , five companies, a wife, ten kids, is a millionnaire and still spends seven days on social networks

i personally feel you need to get that ryzen combo , the 256 gb of ddr10 ram and the 2 50 inch 8k monitors AFTER you find out you have something to build
b/c buying it up front will probably make you feel a lot more pressurized to do so, and you can't just create something from the void, there has to be a spark
that's ofcourse my opinion
these run on an old amd fx 4300 and a gt 700, and it runs JUST FINE ...
im sure it would run better on the gtx970 and probably even more so when i get my hands on that rtx 3080, despite that , the "dev" pc is this one
