Today we decided to share some thoughts about colors, specially the orange color, since it's one of the most requested colors (besides black and brown), when it comes to wallets, bags, details, etc. Here are some examples:
We, as humans, can easily relate to all colors, as they are very much present in our everyday routine, though most of the times we are unaware of their effect in our diverse spectrum of being. As everything is connected to everything in a certain degree, we can easily wonder about the importance and significance of colors ( it has been studied and that knowledge applied in many areas, like health, spirituality, fashion, publicity or mind control, etc).
Since early ages, colors had an preponderant role in human expression and interactions, just think about body paintings across different cultures, symbols, flags, objects, fabrics (comes to mind the tribal war paintings with fierce colors, the kilt, the African waxprints, just to name a few). Across our existence, Nature had taught mankind, through animals and plants, how colors can be of use to express what we feel or want, what to avoid and what to cherish.
So, we collectively share that common sensitivity and the unconscious, perhaps innate, perception of color, along with all living creatures.
So, what about orange?
This color, in my view, is a very uplifting, energetic color, both emotional and mentally. I love oranges (fruit), they always get me going in the morning, i guess I feel some of that bright positive energy, specially after that morning coffee :) Our kitchen has a lot of orange, we decorated and improved some of the furniture with orange vinyl and faux leather, some fabrics and other details, and the funny thing is, later we learnt that orange is also related with the pleasure of eating and appetite. This is just a glimpse of what could be said, but this is what came to mind today :) Just simple wandering through some thoughts while introducing our bright kitchen and our work to the steemian world, after all we are still newcomers :) So give us your uplifting vote, let us grow together!
