Some Eco-enhancing locations in Uyo, Photowalk for Medicinal Lemon Grass || My Actifit Report Card: February 20 2020

For me, walking has always been my daily fitness drill. While I might have some time in some days for aerobics, my nature of work sometimes demands some good miles of walk daily.

Having to walk through the printing industrial Area day from one operation point to another may be so demanding but I seem to be used to the fun.

Today wasn't a walk around the press as I had more indoor Jobs to undertake. However, I decided to take a stroll down the road and decided to take the above shot of our "Ibom Connection", one of the spots in Uyo that would always distinguish newborns from oldies.

The new road and transportation route design in Uyo had made many people not reach that spot maybe for many months. The junction had the pride of being a major connecting point for all the major roads on Uyo. Besides, this is one spot that is decorated with trees and do serve as a relaxation spot for many.

The case is different today with the opening up of Ring roads. However, the cultural value placed on the spot os unparalleled.

I also had to take a photo Walk this evening while trying to pick up some medicinal leaves for selfcare. Sometimes we just need this nature medicine to make our body healthy.

The above is lemon grass plant. Some who do not know the usefulness may consider it to be a weed. However, it has a track of being potent in curing Malaria, typhoid fever and other health ailments.

I discovered that the medicinal plant is going extinct and as such I'll be looking forward for ways to raise seedlings for it at the backyard.

Lemon grass is one special gift from God to mankind and some families who cannot afford medical care, maximize some natural Medicinal plants like Lemon grass for healthy living.
