I used changelly.com for the first time today to convert ETH into PIVX! (but I had to use BlockTrades first)

In an <a href="https://steemit.com/cryptocurrency/@valderrama/i-used-blocktrades-for-the-first-time-to-exchange-sbd-to-btc">earlier post of mine</a> I wrote about my first experience with BlockTrades which was an excellent experience. Very smooth operation.

For people who may not know: BlockTrades is an exchange on which you can quickly exchange currency A into currency B. BlockTrades prides itself for the method of scanning different exchanges to find the best price for purchasing one cryptocurrency with another one. There are some other exchanges like Changelly who do the same.

Today I wanted to exchange some SBD into PIVX because I'm starting to really dig it. So I went to BlockTrades to see if the conversion could be done, but there is no support for PIVX. I looked for another exchange and I found out that <a href="https://changelly.com?ref_id=2bf4508db58f">Changelly.com</a> does support PIVX, but it does not support SBD...

I concluded that one of the easiest thing for me to do was to convert SBD to ETH (because I already have an ETH wallet set up) via BlockTrades so I could then convert ETH to PIVX via Changelly.

The exchange on BlockTrades was made in a matter of seconds, it's a real smooth operation they're running. When I received my ETH I went to <a href="https://changelly.com?ref_id=2bf4508db58f">Changelly.com</a> and created an account first. I filled out my ETH to PIVX selection next. The tool gave me an address to send my ETH to and all in all it was a real smooth operation as well. Took a bit longer for my PIVX to arrive but that's probably due to the confirmation time on the Ethereum chain.

Both BlockTrades and Changelly claim to find the best possible conversion rates. Now I don't know if thats exactly true but I don't really care enough either to find out because they are both so well made, if there are (minor) price differences I'm happy to pay them for their services.

Thanks for dropping by! Great to know that SBD is back. Next time I've acquired a decent amount I will make sure to use your service again.

Do you have any plans on adding ARK as well?

@changelly I've just checked on my Mac using Safari and I can't find SBD in the currency drop down list. When I search for it by typing in SBD nothing appears...
