Day 4 of My Water Fast Completed

#### I had a full day of beach and pool again today, but this time with the in-laws. Now, even though they didn't show up when I thought they would this morning, we all still had a great time.

**There was a lot of *AMAZING* food and it was torturous being there... There were quesadillas, beer, Key Lime Pie (not vegan so wouldn't have eaten it anyway), fruit salad (grapes, bananas, strawberries, and apples), chips and salsas, whatever alcoholic beverage you could have desired, etc. For having all of this in front of me, I did very well. I do have to admit (I want to be transparent) that I ate about 20 grapes... I know, some might say that I ended my fast there and then, but I consider grapes to be so much water content that it probably didn't make a difference! Grapes on average have 2 calories each, so I probably had around 40 calories of grapes and that's the *only* thing I ate today, so I consider myself still in *fasting* mode. I'm going to continue until tomorrow at 4:30 PM to make it a full 5 days, at which time I'm going to "break the fast" with watermelon. (Those were the best feckin' grapes I've ever tasted in my life, no lie...)**

### Now for the weigh-in: a full two pounds lighter than yesterday! Down to 175.8 from 177.8. I knew I would lose weight today since I actually gained weight from two days ago to yesterday (weird).

**I honestly don't feel badly at all. Day 3 was the worst day. Today was a breeze compared to yesterday. The only thing I was a little worried about would be my in-laws reaction to the fast. I actually didn't even tell them. They saw me not eating and asked "Aren't you going to eat?" And I simply said "No, don't really feel like it." The other part was having to speak a *lot* of Spanish while fasting, but that turned out to be nothing to worry about. I'm a feckin' bilingual CHAMP!!!**

I'm in a couple of fb groups about waterfasting and I'm thinking  of doing it myself. I'm glad it's working for you. People love it who go through with their promised idea. Many fail, so good for you. 

I usually only eat once a day and it turns out that is also a form of fasting. There are maybe 8 different plans, but I'm not up on them yet. Who knew!

You sure are in a lovely spot. I wish I was in the pool :)

Oh you're doing so good!  Almost there :D   I imagine so much good food to be torture there if you can't eat it lol.  It's really nice to have such a great place to gather as family...it looks like you all had tons of fun!!
