I feel reality tv helps to shape, influence reality by those who view it and then outwardly reflect that reality with what they learn on tv, as well as their own beliefs, values, and customs/traditions that they are upraised in culturally in their society. Many of the viewers who are easily influenced are completely affected by what they view and reenact certain characteristics and react similarly to situations that are similar to what is portrayed in the shows.
