Diese Frage, um die es heute beim #MittwochsQuickie geht, kann man am besten mit einem Bild beantworten.

HODL me tight :P gilt für mich auch für Steem. Der Kryptowinter ist eingebrochen und wir erleben gerade sehr stürmische Zeiten. Auch bei Steemit. Das wurde vor allem auch gestern klar mit der dramatischen Ankündigung von @ned, 70% des Personals bei Steemit Inc abbauen zu müssen, wegen dem Bärenmarkt.

Das ist natürlich alles andere als erfreulich und auch etwas beunruhigend, da ich die Plattform liebe und möchte, dass Steemit bestehen bleibt und wie @ned sagte, nicht bloß den Kryptowinter überlebt, sondern prosperiert (not surviving but thriving).

Positiv gesehen kann die Krise Steemit sogar robuster und effizienter und vielleicht sogar etwas dezentraler machen. Und es gibt auch neue Überlegungen Werbung auf Steemit zu verkaufen (everything is on the table), was ok wäre, wenn es richtig umgesetzt wird und auch der Community zugutekommt. Im Moment wird Werbung hauptsächlich von Bid Bots verkauft und kommt nicht notwendigerweise der ganzen Plattform zugute.

Krypto ist gerade wieder sehr spannend und ich bin froh, dass ich diese ganzen Entwicklungen live miterleben darf und hoffe, Steemit mit diesem Post ein klein wenig unterstützen zu können 💖

*How big is your love for Steem? This question, which is the topic of  today's #MittwochsQuickie (WednesdaysQuickie), can best be answered with a picture.*

*HODL me tight :P applies to me for Steem as well. Crypto winter has fallen and we are experiencing very stormy times right now. Also at Steemit. This became especially clear yesterday with @ned's dramatic announcement that 70% of Steemit Inc's staff would have to be cut due to the bear market.*

*This is of course anything but pleasing and a bit disturbing, because I love the platform and want Steemit to survive and as @ned said not only to survive but to thrive (not surviving but thriving).*

*On the bright side, the crisis can make Steemit even more robust and efficient and perhaps even a little more decentralized. And there are also new considerations to sell ads on Steemit (everything is on the table), which would be ok if it is implemented in the right way and also benefits the community. At the moment, advertising is mainly sold by bid bots and does not necessarily benefit the platform as a whole.*

*Crypto is very exciting again right now and I am glad that I can experience all these developments and hope that I can support Steemit a little bit with this post* 💖
