The concept of deism first began to be used in England in the 17th century. God means Deus in Latin. The name Deism comes from here. To explain the concept in its simplest form; rather than beliefs from heaven, to believe that the creator himself and his creations. He believes that the designs and laws of nature come from a creator. There are various arguments for deists to believe in God. Cosmologically, they believe that everything is for a reason, and that the cosmos is a cause. While atheists believe that all the causes that bring the universe to the festival are not a cause, and that they are coincidental, the deists believe that we are the people whose purpose is to create the universe for a purpose. There is a reason for everything that exists according to the principle of causality.

Since the universe also exists, there must be a reason for the universe to form. When we look at Deism’s argument of nature, we see the similarity of the theology belief. Everything that exists in nature is in an incredible balance. There is a creator who takes care of this balance or composes it at a distance when the human mind can not comprehend it. If the laws governing the nature are in order, it must be a lawful entity. Laws do not occur spontaneously. The argument against theology is that the world or nature has already been perfectly designed. The irregularities that arise when millions of years have not been undisturbed, the universe has come to fruition has revealed the people of today. They say they can not have a creative intervention again in the incompetent scheme.

Especially in recent years, deism has been widely accepted in the world of science. Most of the arguments that arise against one another against the other do not include deism. Atheists create arguments against gods of religions. Because, with scientific findings, they have the chance to show that what religion tells is not true. But they can never refuse scientifically that there is no god. Those who have the theology beliefs first try to prove that god exists. But they have especially arguments against the degeneration of theology. If there is a reason for everything, there must be a reason for the formation of a supreme entity like a human being. Such perfect design can not exist only in the name of being. Deism can not bring an argument for the existence of man. We are artworks of an artist. But in an environment where there are complicated laws, what is called human being left alone? Even if a simple new microwave oven has a manual, why is there no universe? Why would God leave such a universe without knowing what to do with people? But if there was a manual, why did it come centuries later than at the time of its first existence? Or why are all of the guides so different from each other or on a single geography? Theology and deism constantly ask each other these questions. The questions asked are not scientific, but philosophical, so there is no clear answer. Since there are no arguments to be proven experimentally, it will remain a question at this stage.
