One thing worth mentioning that I had forgotten about, which was pointed out to me by my friend @chrisj, is that everyone who is not a Steemit user who lands on Steemit content sees this message at the bottom of the post...  This is a clever call-to-action that the Steemit team has had in place since the beginning.

I think that most issues surrounding steemit could be resolved through a more transparent money system and greater resolve. I *liked* steem power V1. And now it looks like the whole thing is getting tossed out the window.
