"Something good has begun."

I overheard them saying this and to be honest, I felt alarmed. The world with its lockdowns and restrictions doesn't look good to me at all. They ignored me as I sat down and took the book I was reading out of my schoolbag. This time I wasn't able to concentrate on it. I wondered what they meant, I felt worried about the situation they seem to see as a good start.

"It starts tonight," a big guy said, "you all know what to do." The others nodded while he handed over a list. "Names and addresses."

Names and addresses? What names, who's addresses? The rest of the day I could hardly concentrate and as the teacher had it with me, sent me out of the classroom, I felt relieved, glad to be away from that group that planned to do something although I couldn't figure out what. 

I sneaked out of school and decided to hide in the alley next to the cafeteria. One of those lads I would follow to figure out what the good begin was about. All I knew was he is a nerd. A nerd like me, a person with magic hands if it comes to computers, internet, hacking. As I followed him down the street into an old building down to the cellar a big surprise waited for me. Hundreds of computers were placed and used by people who were active on social media. 

"Don't stand there," a voice next to me said. "Your know what to do. Take that computer over there." 

The one I had followed stood next to me and grinned. "I knew you would join us. It's time to unplug all those idiots with their fake accounts at 20 p.m. sharp. Five hours and after that the power will be shut off. A good begin of the new normal." 

He pushed the paper into my hands, waved at me and disappeared.
