**Alone
When words refuse;
Unspoken.
This litmus hour,
A test of each one broken.**

**Rolling thunder days and sleepless nights.
A heart trembling in your breast
Time for this will just suspend,
In your mind you must pretend.**

**Call it nightmare, shapeless dreams
You're not splitting at the seams.**

**You ride the waves of infinite pain,
Wait and pray something will change.**

***If only you could return*
A door *you never chose*
A life led, slammed, a violent close.
You stumble through this shadow maze.
Plunge into broiling waves.**

**Stop and breathe, clear the haze.
You're not broken,
This heat will  dissipate.**

**What's the bow without the arrow? 
God still sees the fallen sparrow.**

**You're much more, 
though torn and tossed 
A moment spent is never lost.
Cast your crown into the wind
Your new world will soon begin.
So much more is still at stake
You're too precious to replace.**
