 All jobs require a healthy dose of humility, timeliness and professionalism. I used to think that working a technical position exempted me from much of the customer service aspects of a business. I was wrong. Make sure you always pat others on the back, and be that guy everyone respects. The circle of respect starts with you. Be the guy or gal who always makes the deadline, says please and thank you and remembers to follow through. Servant leadership isn't about being a slave to the company or a meek yes man.
