Manifesting a party out of thin air

Yesterday afternoon I was feeling totally manic. I couldn’t focus because I just wanted to rock out to some music, and so as I sat in a cafe, trying to reply to comments and chat in discord, I was intermittently closing my eyes and banging my head. I have no doubt that the waitress thought I was out of my mind. The girl next to me couldn’t stop laughing at me, and when I smiled, she turned away awkwardly. I could not be botherered by any of that. I was too deep into the ethereal chaos of Dan Deacon’s music , and had the song “Mind on Fire” on repeat (check it out!).

I felt a wave of euphoria three out of ten times that I listened to the song. But the whole experience was rather bittersweet. Sure, I could enjoy the music by myself, it’s not a song if I need others to have a good time and enjoy music, but I’ve been longing for that connection which comes from enjoying music live, and not just any music, but music that I really feel. I miss deep conversations about life with people in my physical life, a feeling that not everyone around me is on a completely different wavelength. There are no clubs here that play good music and most friends who put on parties moved away or got too busy with other things. I can count the interesting events I’ve been to this year on one hand.

I miss the excitement of making new friends that I can see and hear and touch. The friendships I’ve made here at steemit have been amazing, but I need something to hold me over until we can all finally meet. So I sat their, with goosebumps, freaking out the people around me and wanting nothing more to be enjoying the music with others who’s wouldn’t say “wtf is this crap?”.

I went to visit a friend at his skate shop. We weren’t originally part of the same scene, him being into hip hop and skating and me being into psychedelic music and jamming and language study and experimental shit, but I’ve been trying to push the people I know outside of my immediate circle to see beyond preferred genres of art and appreciate each other as artists anyway. We had a beer and talked for almost two hours and I felt much better.

He told me that he was heading to a friends house for their companies 2 year anniversary party. Company party....hmm didn’t sound like my thing. “What kind of company?” I asked. “The put on parties for other companies.” Holy crap, it’s my old student. She had invited me to some of their events before, but it wasn’t always last minute and too late for me. So we got in a taxi and headed across the city.

We arrived and we were the oldest people in the room by at least five years. They were listening to 90’s pop thing...not really my style. I tried to just enjoy the amazing view from her apartment and the fact that I was in a social situation with new friends and old ones. After about an hour on the balcony talking to my students sister and her girlfriend, the music turned electronic. I don’t know enough about electronic music to know if it was deep-house or techno, but it was something I could dance to.

I went crazy. It felt good. Not really as crazy as my very drunk student, but crazy enough to shake my loneliness away. Just a few hours earlier I could not have possibly conceived of any way for me to dance to good music with people that I enjoyed. But a deep desire for it (that came without neediness) led me straight to it. You may believe in coincidences but I don’t. I’ve experienced, far too many times, how we can consciously shape our realities when we are in the right state of mind.

The picture is a nice touch. 

Yeah it is good to live in the moment like that sometimes. I have had come crazy and fun experiences because I said "screw it, why not?" 

I know that kind of feeling about needing to meet new people. It seems to get harder and harder as we get older. I met people every day when I was a teenager. Now I can go days without talking to a stranger lol.

One you start looking above 30 some people take less interest in you and others are creeped out.  I miss being perceived as an innocent kid, but it's all good, im way more capable of starting a conversation now so it balances out.

I just woke up, read your post and am now listening to 'Mind on Fire' while replying. Awesome stuff!

I enjoy your personal stories and am glad you feel better again. I don't believe in confidence anymore myself. I believe I talked about that in yesterday's post.

I seem to be manifesting more and more myself and yesterday was a good example of that.

I guess that guy making noise in your apartment, was all part of the plan. You should thank him for it. It led to you actually dancing on music and that was what you wanted the most. 

I wish you a great day filled with things that you enjoy but you will have to manifest them yourself ;>)

I had an experience like this when I met this security guard lady in a shop while on this business trip.

We chatted outside the shop for like ten minutes, then I was interrupted by a colleague who came to buy some things of his own, when she decided to leave.

The next day in my hotel, I had this feeling like I wanted to see her again. Went down to the shop and as I walked out, she was there.

We ended up going out for some drinks and had a great time.

The whole thing was just effortless. There was 0 anguish or feeling of improbability. It just seemed like it had always been meant to happen that way

Quantum dynamics are incomprehensible to our lower mind / amygdala; but placed in our conscious prefrontal neocortex, it just makes perfect sense that all possibilities exist in a hyperdimensional superimposed field of potentiality.

Manifest experience, or the collapse of the superimposed field of potentiality, obviously follows the energetic current of the flow of consciousness.

Thought and emotion, a.k.a intentionality, whether conscious or subconscious, seems to be the collapser of the field, into what can be described as physical experience.

It's strange to think we are shifting from parallel universe to parallel universe through the power of mind; but strangely enough, that seems to be exactly what is happening, moment to moment, intention to experience

Intelligence of the Universe is so baffling, it's actually terrific

I’ve been finding more and more evidence of this, I just wrote today about how not freaking out about not having money allowed me to score two awesome jobs that don’t take away from my steeming or guitar practice.

I didn’t know about the pineapple but after a few months using it, I feel more and more that there is something about it that really fits me, like I was drawn to it rather than just choosing it randomly.
