Marcello is my horse, he is cross between Friesian and Boerperd ( a local South African breed - literally farmer's horse). He is basically of the draught horse type, though he is much more feisty than the usual calm draught. I've had him for 16 years already. Here is a portrait I painted of him using acrylic and oils. You can see my dog Onyx romping in the background.
