## Arrival in Copenhagen Airport

I arrived in Copenhagen early yesterday morning after travelling for 6 hours through the night. I had to arrive at the airport by 4.30am for my flight and was a little tired after only getting on-and-off disrupted sleep on the way to the airport.

The small part of Copenhagen airport I saw seemed to be modern, clean and efficient. I liked the "Scandinavian design" elements, with a lot of focus on natural lighting and creating buildings and furniture that are simplistic but highly functional and modern.

It was also very easy to get to the city center of Copenhagen from the airport. After quickly passing through immigration, I bought a train ticket at the airport and was in the city after a short 15 minutes train ride that cost only ~6 USD.

## Breakfast at Risteriet Coffee Halmtorvet

Simple breakfast at Risteriet Coffee Halmtorvet, which was half-tucked underground (seems like a lot of shops and restaurants are like that in Copenhagen). This cafe came highly recommended for its coffee. Coupled with the yoghurt and muesli, this made for a simple but delicious breakfast.

Off to Nyhavn after breakfast for the classic view in Copenhagen. Nyhavn is a waterfront and canal district built in the 17th-century. Bars, restaurants and cafes line the streets along the canal, with tables laid out outdoors for customers to enjoy food and drinks along with the views.

Understandably, it's a popular spot for people in the city to gather and enjoy the sunshine while socialising with their friends when the weather gets warmer come Springtime. Imagine having some beer while sharing a platter of finger food with friends!

Copenhagen definitely seems like an extremely liveable city so far!
