# Happy National Coffee Day - Sept. 29, 2018

My wife and I are both avid coffee drinkers.
At least a pot a day each...
+ We have the Bunn quick brew. 3 minutes for a pot, unless the lines are limed up. When that happens we run vinegar through it and then it works quickly again.
+ We prefer the bold taste of Columbian.
  + Black for me. Very seldom do I ever put anything in it.
  + Sylvia doctors hers up. Cream & sugar.
At McDonald's, she asks for 3 creams and 2 sugars for a large cup.
+ We have k-pod brewers.
  + I have one at work.
  + She has to take her's back and forth to work.
    + We watch for sales on [Best Buy to get the pods](https://www.bestbuy.com/site/searchpage.jsp?st=victor+k-pods&_dyncharset=UTF-8&id=pcat17071&type=page&sc=Global&cp=1&nrp=&sp=&qp=&list=n&af=true&iht=y&usc=All+Categories&ks=960&keys=keys). 
They are normally around 35 cents, but we catch them on sale for 25 cents.
We normally get the Columbian pods.
She does like to try all the different flavored coffees. 
I might do one of those a month...
  + When we travel, it's always with a big insulated mug. 
    + Once in a while, we will get a cappuccino on the road. 
But usually, it's Columbian coffee...

+ ***Coffee drinkers live longer!***
>  Coffee drinking was inversely associated with mortality, including among those drinking 8 or more cups per day and those with genetic polymorphisms indicating slower or faster caffeine metabolism.

+ ***Coffee can be part of a healthy diet.***
> This study provides further evidence that coffee drinking can be part of a healthy diet and offers reassurance to coffee drinkers.
