A DESPERATE SONG

I try this poem
to curse them,
to achieve some repose.

What the Almighty God, 
with his infinite science,
confuse them,
that they couldn't talk,
becomes evident
that they only babble,
that they get lost
through the corridors without windows
of his atrophied brains
because of so much perico, <a>(¹)</a></
that they explode out of arrogance,
that they believe their own lies,
that they drown
in a glass of whiskey,
that run out with no batteries
all their cell phones,
that their laughter be quenched,
may their badly born laughter end
and that their strongboxes
to be nest and food
for cockroaches.

I will read these lines
every night,
in a tone of prayer.
