I woke up to an absolute blessing and a great way to start my day!

The post I launched before going to bed, [Legend of the World Roots - Part 3](https://steemit.com/story/@zakludick/legend-of-the-world-roots-part-3) had received a Curie! Over 790 votes and absolutely killing it! 

This also vaulted the story right up there on the tags, in the morning my positions on Trending look like this:

4th in fantasy
6th in fiction
8th in story
22nd in writing

Steemit, being what it is, with a high volume of posts these positions may have very well have fallen a little bit, but it is a great feeling to score up on the Trending tags!

As for the rest of the day, I was sent to a building I know nothing about to do service and as usual, my fresh eyes find a lot of faults. I even dismantled some of the machines to see what was ticking and write a good report with the correct information for quotation purposes.

So it has been a very positive learning experience and a change of pace from the Health and Safety Officer position I usually play. However, being on the learnership program, I am happy to get in on the action!
