Today, I decided that it was a good day to grab one of my little ones and wander around in public during the highest point of a global plague.  Typing this, it doesn’t sound like the greatest idea, but I assure you it worked out well. 

Here are the moments I paused during my walk so that I could share them with the world. Here are 11 more shots which need less than 20 words or less to fully relay the moment.

The lockdown sites essential travel only and there is a distinct lack of traffic downtown.

Nary a leaf on a tree as we head a couple blocks north to the river/lake in the middle of town.

Plenty of action on the river and none of the tracks seem to lead to a large ice cave in or distress of any sort!

In the distance, you will see a dad shoveling and his kids playing...aka welcome to Canada pops.

There seems to be many cleared-off spots on the lake and plenty of people not falling through.  Should we venture off solid land?

The afternoon lingers on as the sun falls in the sky but tell me you wouldn't wanna strap on some skates and learn how to be Canadian!

Here we have a few lads enjoying real life with a puck and a bunch of nature.  As good as it gets.

This path is rather clear but you can see the footprints to either side as people get out for some exercise and keep overly safely apart.

Striving for 10k @actifit steps takes you down roads you may never really have cause to walk.

This standard 2-storey home a couple blocks from the central square has become a local bakery.

City Hall stands tall with the modest promise of free parking downtown.

No filter needed on a safe trip away from home so that my little one can enjoy something besides the confines of these 4 walls.  it is amazing what you can cover when you put your phone away (except for capturing blog photos) and fill the silence with conversation.
