Britons working on a new engine with a V6 engine
Global Tandy and electrification will not pass and the British supercar maker McLaren. The company's management announced that all future models will be equipped with hybrid power units, already the basis for them was established.
The magazine Autocar, McLaren boss Mike Flyuit revealed that the next generation of sports brand models will be built on the new chassis Monocel second generations. It allows the use of hybrid engines.
The first such engine will get a successor 570S - most low-lying model range Sport Series family of McLaren (so the first picture). Following the pattern of this group of hybrids will be equipped and family Super Series. If you consider that the new generation model 720S (second picture) was introduced only last year, the cars of this series will be hybrids no earlier than 2023
According to Autocar, McLaren's engineers are working on new hybrid unit in which a major role to play 6-cylinder turbo engine. However Mike Flyuit has insured that some models of the brand may not receive hybrid technology, like just about cars from Ultimate limit Series, which will be powered by V8 engines.
