Finally one of my favorite animes has premiered its new season, and although I have already read the whole manga and I am aware of what happened in the story I am very excited to see how the deadly sins returned to action.

So here's my review of this first chapter of the season.

# Anime Overview
#
This anime is about a group of people with special powers and abilities who fight demons and all kinds of threats against the kingdom. This group is led by a young half-demon who carries the curse of immortality, a curse that makes him stronger, but more unstable each time he resurrects.

This group of dysfunctional warriors has recently been reinstated as they were previously believed to be traitors and enemies of the kingdom. But now they will have to face other beings who like them are super powerful and mysterious, a group of villains commanded by two of Meliodas' brothers (captain of the seven deadly sins).

Basically the anime focuses on the battle of this group of dysfunctional heroes, against the demonic threats that arise, especially against the seven commandments who are at the moment the main threat.

# The Light That Drives Off Darkness (S03E01)
#
In this chapter our heroes return to action immediately rescuing a group of prisoners who were being abducted by low-level demons to serve as lunch. A group of demons that is quickly defeated by Meliodas and Ban. Then in the next vignette we find ourselves in the village where these demons had a kind of base and where they constantly abused the inhabitants, until a little boy decides it is time to be brave and face these demons, obviously the boy is super mistreated and defeated but fortunately part of the seven sins appear and defeat all the demons freeing the village.

This is a very light chapter, but with good action scenes, where the story does not advance much but reminds us where most of the characters are at the moment, some training, some helping to rebuild the village and some planning their next move. The highlight of the chapter is undoubtedly the scene where we see Zeldris recapitulate what has happened with the other commandments, and especially watching him take care of his fallen brother Estarossa. An Estarossa who while recovering from his last fight dreams and remembers his beloved brother Meliodas who before was his idol.

A very good chapter that serves to raise the hype while we wait for the real action to start.
