Steemit was a nice experiment, but the monetary aspect is a complete failure. Social media on the blockchain -that cannot be censored- is the future if people choose freedom. In this aspect, Steemit is still better than Twitter or Facebook. By making posts on Steemit and direct linking you have made your content immune from easy take-down... as far as I am aware. If this is not the case, I will also soon say さよなら。
