**My Actifit Report Card: 21/01/19**

My second highest stepcount so far on Actifit, a very active day and no sign of 'Blue Monday' for me! No doubt I'll break this tomorrow however!

This morning I had an Alternative Investments seminar and then a 2 hour Derivatives lecture. The seminar was a little easy so wasn't too interesting, but I enjoyed the lecture. I went for a short run just after lunch to get my legs moving in preparation for a big training run tomorrow. It wasn't far so didn't impact that much on my stepcount, but I needed to go to the shops for some dinner so decided to take the scenic route and go for a walk around the broad. It was pretty misty, but I did manage to get a nice shot of a heron sitting on a log in the lake.

I honestly can't believe how quickly January is gone, and how fast Spring is approaching. It didn't get fully dark until quarter to 5 today and it's noticeable that every day it's getting later and later. Spring is my favourite season - and undoubtedly my most active! Very much looking forward to the end of Winter.
