You finished it 🎉🎉 This is a wonderful accomplishment. The linen stitch looks so lovely in the variegated part of the scarf and I understand that you found this not too easy to finish. I have made one bigger project with this stitch pattern and I so often got out of rhythm (I hope I have identified the stitch right :-D) And the beret is something I never tried... I was contemplating to try to knit one, as I have a friend who loves to wear them, but in knitting it seemed to complicated (for the impatient crafter I sometimes are). Did you improvised the pattern or do you have a written pattern/schematic for the beret?

So sorry for this late reply! Thank you, thank you! Hehe I think the linen stitch has a few names. Some calls it seed stitch too I think. Here is the beret pattern that I am sort of following: http://www.oliveandbrook.com/2016/07/free-pattern-hadley-slouch.html I am using a thinner yarn, so I am making more rounds first to grow the beret before moving on to shaping the forehead part. So far, I have not reached there yet :P
