For the time being, I think it's quite unlikely that the articles were written by AI as they deal with things involving human relations which are pretty hard for AI to manage. The most probable explanation is a mix of freelance articles or something like that.

@alexgr's view is similar to my take. I see @msgivings's articles as taking 100 years of women's magazine articles,  - probably enough sentences to fill the New York Public Library - chopping them to bits and putting them together as new content.
