It was on the  Pont des Arts Bridge. It is a pedestrian bridge over the Seine. (it is near the Louve and the bridge goes over to the Institute.

I crossed that bridge while I was there. It doesn’t look like it used to. People still do their best to put locks on it where they can though.

This was right where the bridge connects with land. There were clusters of locks around where the hand rails connected with the lamp posts too.

Oh! I heard that they had taken the locks down a couple years ago oh, but I did not actually believe that they would take all of them down. It was such a romantic thing to do and in your heart it meant so much to be a part of that. This just means I'm going to have to go back there and do it again! Insert a big smile here.
