Seeing that art is subjective in the sense that one painting is more appealing than others to a viewer, thus a art installation such as the piss Christ might be a construction of what the artist wanted to convey as his expression about a religious iconography, and to him it is a protest sorts, but isn't it just piss in a jar? I look at how an artist physically and psychologically one presses for passion to master that which is manifesting. Thank you for a well done article. K

Thank you for commenting :) In art, things are rearly the thing itself. There are usually a lot of sub layers of meaning. That is one reason people are studying art - to become better at the language of art. To know how to express what they are trying to and how others before them have done so.
