Happy Birthday Daddy .. You are so missed!!! My Airforce Hero

May Dad died 3 years ago and it still is not much easier .. Those that know me know that my Dad is my Hero!!  Daddy went in for an out-patient surgery, was sent home and passed away about 3 hours later.  I did not get to say goodbye :(  Healing is tough but I am a strong Lady and I have been able to identify clues that he is right here with me each and every day.  My Dad used to call me Marshmallow because he said I had the softest skin .. As he got older, he put on quite a bit of weight, all in the belly (poor diet and all plugged up) .. I used to rub his belly and would tell him "your buddha belly brings me good luck".  

This first picture below on the left, my Dad is the handsome one on the right .. Airforce :)  In honor of my Dad, MY HERO, I wanted to share these favorite pics with my Steemit Friends!!!

I'm so sorry for your loss! He must have been special since you miss him! My Daddy passed many many years ago when I was 16. I'm so lucky to have my mom still. In fact, it's her birthday today! Anyway thanks for sharing you Dad.

Oh yes, my mom and my paternal grandparents were there for me all through finishing high school and going to college. I feel very blessed that I was able to go on and continue on with life after my father's passing. Thank you, you are so sweet and I've got tears running down my cheeks thinking about you telling me you love me. We need to send out this love to the world, especially those who concentrate on hate instead of love. Sending love and peace back to you @sunshine247. I think the Steemit community is amazing!
