If the market Increased $7 billion out of nowhere does that mean more people are buying the coins is there a higher demand?

Definitely, there was a higher demand of bitcoins before the fork; it went from $1800 to $2700. Probably people were buying because they thought the other coin was not going to be as valuable as the original bitcoin. But I think there is a fight between those who want BCH (the miners) and those who dont want to lose the value of BTC (the people who owns them).
