So, do you mean he has to set aside 30% from the profits on each trade individually? Not on the aggregate gain of the trades throughout the year (this is how it's done in the US)? Or that he tried to pay on the gains after several years of trading instead of on an annual basis (that would screw you in the US too)?

Yeah, but you pay taxes on the aggregated gain throughout the year, meanwhile people over here needs to pay for each trade individually. It really worries me actually... Can you imagine someone to pay taxes on each curation and each author reward on Steemit for instance? - That's just insane. But that's basically what they're expecting us to do.
