@swissclive Thank you so much. It was your post that inspired me, so thank you for that too!
Unfortunately right now, as I only joined a week ago, my blog is mainly populated with Freewrites and a few poems I wrote to enter contests. I have a lot more content planned, but here's the thing -
Patience is a huge thing in my life. I discovered it was my biggest character flaw long ago. Since then, I have been taking every opportunity that I recognize to practice patience...
As soon as I got to Steemit all I wanted to do was start writing great quality content for it and start pumping it out ASAP... but straight away I realised that Steemit itself is yet another opportunity the universe has offered me to practice patience.
So for now, I am spending my time interacting, making friends, learning the do's and dont's, reading, absorbing, commenting, encouraging, flowing... knowing that I need to be patient and build up friends and family here if I want some of my more profound poetry and stories to actually get any exposure here.
Never-the-less... on my first day here I prepared a blog post all about my journey with patience, and so far that is the only proper article I have written for here... I will include the link here in case you fancy reading it some time --> [How Important is it to Practice Patience?](https://steemit.com/motivation/@hartfloe/how-important-is-it-to-practice-patience)
But I hope we will remain friends as time goes on and I begin to bring my true life work to this platform -
My mission in life is to share my performed spoken word pieces with as much of this world as possible, and I can see Steemit has come into my life as another resource to help me do that... I just know I need to be patient and establish myself here as a true part of the community before I release my greatest tricks!
Anyway... thank you again so much for this post because it's so essential that all new users read this as soon as possible. I also really appreciate your support and such a generous upvote on my comment... that's the first for me and I hope it will give me more Steem Power to help others along their way too :)
I know we just met but I can tell you rule and that you have really good intentions for this platform and are doing your bit to make sure it remains as wonderful as it is...
So thank you....
Really. <3
Looking forward to exploring your blog more as I'm sure this isn't the only golden nugget of wisdom to be found there!
Wishing you an amazing day ahead.
With love
