There is a lot of panic out there and you can see how many people are trying to move there money at the moment. I'm not happy with the market but not panicking about it. All the coins I have were for the long term not just a quick turnaround. Im ok with holding them as long as nessessary until things pick up. 

Especially steem, it's my favourite coin and everthing I've seen in the past few months development wise has only increased my belief that I want as many as possible before it explodes. I'm looking long term and if crypto survives this will be one of the big ones.

I think your right about that. Over the past few years there has been massive fluctuations in the markets. As i was saying in the post it's the developments that i am looking at rather than the prices. Which blockchains are showing the most progress and most ambition??? 

As far as i have seen thats steem on all counts. All the apps that i have seen getting developed and getting ready for their own SMT's give me a lot of hope that we are in for a big year. Lots of the big companies are moving into blockchain technology so there is definitely a future there, it's just a matter of which crypto's are part of it.

It's an awesome opportunity anyway. I hope you manage to take advantage while all this STEEM is there to be had. In a years time it might be very difficult to earn them.

A lot have powered down but as you said a lot are calm and looking ahead. I'm one of them. I look at my sp as the most important number and not the steem price. There are lots of factors in the price but we should be optimistic.

I think that you make a good point here as we already have a product up and running with a lot of daily users. My question is can we increase the active users ten fold or a hundred fold. Which would still be a tiny number in terms of any popular app but massive in terms of price. That is the direction we need to be moving and hopefully will be moving towards over the next year. We already have one of the most used blockchains in terms of transactions but I still want to see even more.

That's the attitude. Once you find your place in the community I think that a lot of people get hooked on here. Most of the accounts that we lose are in the early stages when it's all a bit complicated and frustrating. Just keep accumulating and stay positive and in 3 years who knows where we might be.

My main focus for now is to up my interaction levels and to expand my number of followers. I checked out my steem-ua and the number is a lot lower than I expected. It's been improving a small bit every day but my goal is to increase my sp over 10k and push my ua level up near the top. It will take work but that's what the winter is for.

Just stay positive and push hard.

Yes, we can all understand why people would be worried but as we know just over a year ago the prices were a lot lower than this. They will go up and down since we operate in such an uncertain marketplace but for all of us who believe in the future its about accumulation more SP rather than following the prices. I know that it will come back up it's just a matter of where it settles in a few years.

Like you, i have topped up a bit more recently as i just couldn't pass up such a good opportunity. When i started on here accounts with 1000sp seemed huge to me so it's nice to have passed that out and aiming for dolphin status next. All i need to do is try and add new and active followers along the way as a lot of mine have faded out over the past year. There are still plenty good people on here and it's actually easier to find them at the moment as a lot of the spammers have left since the prices went down. Always a bright side.

It's going to be an interesting ride however long it takes to get there. We are only at the start of the journey with steem so there will be a lot of up and downs over the next ten years. 

The development is only really beginning now and should gather pace over the next year or two. Add in whatever legislation is brought out to cover the whole system and we should see a lot happening soon.

Ya it's had massive ups and downs over the past 4 years. The good thing is that every time it looked like hitting the floor it went higher in the next bull run. If you look at the markets from this year it mirrors the last four years almost exactly. Then came back stronger again. In expecting the same again and steem to follow it when it does.
