I also use Cloudinary for those rare occasions when I want Steemians to be able to "click image to englarge" for more detail.

Odd, though, when I upload images to Steemit, I see something like this:
 
`steemitimages.com/DQmZWfxwkgsd9.jpg` &nbsp;and not the 0x0 thing you mentioned. I wonder why...?
