i hope it is :)
if SMTs make it so that we no longer have to rely on manual curation by a few whales that have most of the stakes, steem *might* have a bright future.

well, anything stake-based is kinda flawed because the biggest stake holders don't actually care about the platform. especially on steemit, whales have way too much power (when crypto is all about decentralization)
