Does built-in audience really translate that well if they don't buy-in? Even a few hundred followers with 15 sp don't do as much as getting one whale to follow you with votes does. Agreed that it's hard as hell to actually cultivate crops that return good yield when you're just starting out. Steemit has a complex metagame dictated by other users with varying levels of voting power and people with investment capital, typically spare crypto from other sources, can give themselves a heads up by bidding on bots in a smart way. Strange world where you're gambling on the price of the fertilizer one day being worth the sale of the crop the next week.

I dunno, seems that @DavidPakkmann did pretty well migrating from youtube. In addition to that, the big guys here are super supportive of him... I'm not a statist in any way, so I'm not impressed by these political types. Oh, the bid bots... Haven't used em in months. I'd only do it if I had a project that I put 40+ hours into...
