" The great ideas will refuse to be shaken and burn into your brain." Your post have many useful aspects for me. I fall into the category of building 4 failed businesses. This is mostly due to the fact that i consider myself to be a creator of ideas and not necessarily a follow-through type. My business are ideas, and so I have a very long list of ones I've tried, and ones that are burning in my brain currently. I'd love to discuss these with you to see what you think. So far, I have created one successful model on Steemit, that is the Secret Writer Project. It both lucrative and it serves a much needed purpose for others, to provide people with an anonymous outlet for their dark secrets. Now, however, 2 or 3 months have passed and I'm feeling the lure of a new idea........such is my life, full of mad ideas, and not enough time to flesh them all out. Would it be wise to have a partner? I would really like to talk through some of this because I never want to work for anyone again, and my dream of being self-employed is coming true.......but I lack a business mind. Mine exists somewhere in a haze-filled room full of mad ideas that are constantly tapping me on the shoulder. The reality is that I could care less about money, which causes me on occasion to go completely broke.......what do you think about all of this?

I suffer with the follow-through aspect myself. I've had a handful of ideas I either never got motivated for, didn't have the time, or lacked the capital needed to implement that I've later painfully watched be executed successfully by someone else (not stolen ideas, they fairly arrived at the same idea I did... purely my failure, not theirs). I'd love to discuss your ideas. As far as having a partner... In *all* my businesses I have partners. I find partners who compliment my weaknesses and strengths. I have ***zero*** issue sharing business ownership with other people. If I have 100% ownership then I must do 100% of the executive/business development work. Additionally employees are never as motivated in the business's success as stakeholders are. With one or more partners who all together can smartly run and grow the business the burden on each individual is far less. For me personally this frees my time and effort up to start another business, or just to smell the roses. I'm a big believer that the mark of an excellent manager or leader is someone who puts the right people, processes, and structures in place such that the business runs smoothly and effectively whether they are present and engaged or unplugged and on vacation. In other words, you're done standing up a new business when you can walk away from it. I'd rather own 10% of 10 businesses that require little attention from me than 100% of 1 business. But yeah, I'd love to chat :-)

I agree with you too. I look for partners constantly and Steemit is proving to be a worthy place indeed, for someone's character shines through better here than anywhere else. I am considering handing off the Secret Writer project to someone else, but I am not sure I'm ready to walk away quite yet. I was thinking of putting the best ones into a book, but I'm not sure there is market demand. My Black Swan idea I'd love to discuss with you in more detail to get your feedback. It's an insane idea that I'm really attached to. If you're on Rocket chat, I will add you to my private group, if you want. Let me know if you're on there and want to be added. It won't require much of your energy actually....just your opinion. A once off, if you will.
