# I LONG TO LIVE MY LIFE IN MERCY AND TRUTH.

The greatest desire of God is to see his children behaving like him, this awareness stimulate a hunger in me and made me sober and searching. Searching and praying for the grace and strength to be able to yield to the spirit of God by which these fruits of mercy and truth can be met.

# Truth is God?
Truth is not from this world, truth is God in the form of gift that is given to man to set man free. **Truth is God and Truth is Jesus Christ**.
It’s only the truth that can set any man who may come to the knowledge of the truth free, for this reason I’m bold to proclaim that Jesus is everything to mankind.
John 8:31-32
Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; And ye shall know the truth (Jesus), and the truth (Jesus) shall make you free.
John 14:6
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, ***the truth***, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
# what is Mercy?
Mercy and Truth proceeded from one source; from God the father! Jesus was given to us out of mercy which God has for mankind, his love for humanity is so great that his mercy on us brought about the manifestation of Christ Jesus.
# Biblical references
For he that is mighty hath done to me great things;
and holy is his name. He hath holpen his servant Israel, in remembrance of his mercy; As he spake to our fathers,
to Abraham, and to his seed for ever.
Through the tender mercy of our God;
whereby the dayspring from on high hath visited us,
To give light to them that sit in darkness and in the shadow of death,
to guide our feet into the way of peace.
Luke 1:49, 54-55, Luke 1:78-79
# How can one extend this truth and mercy to others?
Truth and mercy is the great commission that Jesus handed over to believers, to Christians, therefore, mercy and truth is spread whenever we talk about Jesus Christ to others.
It’s unfortunate that this truth and mercy can not be recognized and obtained by worldly wisdom and understanding, even the wisest of this world may evidently miss out from this mercy and truth because to them, they’re foolishness.
Someone as wise as Pontus Pilate with all his knowledge couldn’t lay hold on the truth that was offered to him in a platter of gold because he was blindfolded by the wisdom of the world.
John 18:37-38
Pilate therefore said unto him, Art thou a king then? Jesus answered, Thou sayest that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the **truth** (God). Every one that is of the truth (of God)heareth my voice. Pilate saith unto him, What is truth?....
That’s how it is with so many today in our world, they find it so difficult to see through our gospel.
# Behold I brought you the same Truth today.
***God is the Truth***.
