Thank you so much @barncat for sharing how you feel about 'persecution' and 'victory' as the two relates to my post,  I do not judge you, yet the scripture is not broken.

For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God. Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual. But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man. (1Cor 2:11-15, KJV) 


**'programming your mind for victories'**

Victory before God is not that definition that the world gave it, we can read about the 'HEROES OF FAITH' maybe it will help us.

And what shall I more say? for the time would fail me to tell of Gedeon, and of Barak, and of Samson, and of Jephthae; of David also, and Samuel, and of the prophets: Who through faith subdued kingdoms, wrought righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions, Quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, waxed valiant in fight, turned to flight the armies of the aliens. Women received their dead raised to life again: and others were tortured, not accepting deliverance; that they might obtain a better resurrection: And others had trial of cruel mockings and scourgings, yea, moreover of bonds and imprisonment: They were stoned, they were sawn asunder, were tempted, were slain with the sword: they wandered about in sheepskins and goatskins; being destitute, afflicted, tormented; (Of whom the world was not worthy:) they wandered in deserts, and in mountains, and in dens and caves of the earth. (Heb 11:32-38).

The two group of people mentioned should help you understand what is the righteousness of God as it relates to victory.

Some subdued kingdoms and stopped the mouth of lions etc; and others were tortured, not accepting deliverance; that they might obtain a better resurrection: while others had trial of cruel mockings and scourgings, yea, moreover of bonds and imprisonment: They were stoned, they were sawn asunder, were tempted, were slain with the sword etc yet the scriptures recognized the two as **victorious**

Therefore we must prepare our minds because we do not know the kind of victory that we may obtain.
