“9月15日，“中国天眼”首席科学家兼总工程师、中国科学院国家天文台研究员南仁东因罹患肺癌、病情恶化抢救无效于夜间逝世，享年72岁。”
看到这个消息，我大脑短路了一下——

这是那个领导FAST射电望远镜项目的南仁东吗？
这是那个探寻宇宙寻找地外生命的南仁东吗？
这是那个不久前才接受采访，神似林子祥的科学家吗？

比起家事天下知的明星，这些不遗余力推进人类科学进程的科研工作者非常低调。

南仁东曾在日本国立天文台当客座教授，1990年，因为北京天文台需要他，所以他立刻就回来了。
1993年，日本召开了国际无线电科学联盟大会，期间提出一个概念：希望在全球电波环境恶化到不可收拾之前，建造新一代射电“大望远镜”。
因为种种原因，有些项目中国无法参与，时任中国科学院北京天文台副台长的南仁东斩钉截铁地说：“我们也要建一个。”

那之后的20多年里，南仁东带领老中青三代科技工作者，克服了关键技术无先例可循、关键材料急需攻关、核心技术遭遇封锁等各种难关，实现了由跟踪模仿到集成创新的跨越。

在此不谈这只望穿深空的天眼在天文物理学研究或其他领域的意义，只惋惜于与生命宽度不成正比的长度。

能力越大，责任越重。我无法想象这些肩负重任的科技工作者的工作强度。
曾经一个搞科研的朋友跟我说他为新研制的材料做性能测试，没日没夜在设备前守了一百多个小时，调侃说“一入豪门深似海”当真是把青春和一切都奉献给了科学。

记得家乡那边有位医术十分高明的中医，医术好到什么程度？好到听起他的事迹来都觉得传奇。而今，这位知识渊博的老中医因为年迈而痴呆，毕生累积的知识也随着衰老的身体永远封存。

有一句话叫“我愿问天再借五百年”，大概这是人类最无力的祈祷了。秦始皇为何想要寻求长生不老之药？难道仅仅是为了无期限坐拥江山美人吗？

一个人除却懵懂无知的那些年，能用来学习的时间有多少？成材以后，将知识转化为创造力的时间又能有多少？
但换个想法——
伟大光辉的智慧居然存在于这弱小的身躯里，还有什么遗憾？

我想，也许时间空间是一条川流不息的长河，人类是河里的小小鱼，谁都无法抗拒流淌的河水，谁都无法逆水往回游。
随波逐流平凡平庸是最舒服的，但有些鱼却愿意用尽毕生的智慧和力量，只为了跃出水面看一眼外面的世界，于是，他懂得了芸芸众生都无法想通的东西。

您沉入水底，游向彼岸，从此成了一颗闪亮的星星——在您毕生向往的那个地方。
