It makes you wonder doesn't it... of all the inventions and scientific breakthroughs and processes that someone was working on but got discouraged or distracted and walked away without finishing... we tend to only hear of new successful attempts, but I'm sure they're vastly outnumbered by things that just didn't work out because the person lost faith. Super important lesson there and I'm glad you picked yourself up... when it doubt, take a step back to take a leap forward.
