It's our dream to one day start a black cat (and dogs, and really, any color that actually needs us) and special needs rescue and sanctuary. I'm planning to register the Coon mix as an emotional support animal. If we get to have our sanctuary, I'd like to train our rescues as therapy and service animals and give them to veterans, and anyone that needs them free of charge. Take care of their special needs and they'll take care of yours.

And a 'pet pantry' where those that need financial help caring for their pets can get food and other necessities for their pets. Everyone deserves the unyielding love of havings pets. Money shouldn't dictate who can have that love.

But that's just a pipe dream at the moment.

Right now, we have to manage to survive. Can't change the world if we starve or freeze to death."

Today, I would like to nominate @deepapoudel for how she describes ways to keep anger at bay

To keep anger at bay, what we have read during our school days was to drink water. Indeed, it helps to reduce anger to some extent, but I also think a good communication can help reduce anger to a larger extent. Also, some relaxing music and comedy video clips would help. And, if you are a believer of God, then carving mantras would also help much, if you are not a believer of God then also it would help because it helps keep your mind concentrated and develops peace in your soul and body.

I had no idea what the introductory posts were until I was on here for a few weeks and read someone else's post saying, "Do an introduce yourself post!" Since posting my own, I noticed that people often post a picture of themselves holding a sign with the date and Steemit on it. Obviously creating fake posts or abusing the introduce yourself tag is wrong, but I would also bet that a lot of new users just don't know how to do it the right way.

"What an interesting question. When I was a kid I wanted to be a teacher or a dancer. So what happened!!! Well - being anxious to be on my own, I chose to forget University and go straight into the work place. This was at the age of 17 and it took me the next 23 years to see "the light" you might say. At age 41 I became a Counsellor with the Salvation Army and onward to becoming a Pastor. A few years later I saw how God had made my 'kid desires' come true. For the next 20 years I became 'a teacher of the Bible' and for almost 5 years led a 'Creative Movement (dance)' ministry at our church. Voila - teacher and dancer. Great news indeed."
